Space mission Chandra Yaan 2 - Complexity

Space mission to Chandra - Chandra Yaan -2

1) Possibilities and complexity:

-  The selected south pole is critical due to high radiation and more electrostatic charges in the air.
-  Antistatic devices are required to earth all equipment with body
-  Whole-body must be interconnected with each component to ground the static charges in the body, Whole body area must be calculated based on the requirement to conduct static charges as per Faradays-law
-  All electronics shall be designed to conduct these static charges.
-  The Vikram lost communication when it reached a height of 2km due to damages in electronics from static charges conducted from moon sand particles.
-  Due to poor communication and damaged electronics, Vikram lost its path and free fall on Vikram and landed at the wrong location ( tapered ground).
- Even if the Antenna was in the right direction the communication will not be possible to achieve because of damage electronics.

- Rate of deceleration also could have damaged the Vikram in the air. The Rate of deceleration should gradually increase throughout the landing procedure, may cause internal damages.
